When Bay View Curbside recovers wood waste from a construction site, or office furniture from a commercial real estate company the majority of collected resources are donated or re-used. The wood is re-used by local makers and the furniture is donated to Milwaukee non-profits. 

Lately, there has been a decrease in demand for donated material in bulk, even at the larger facilities like the Milwaukee Salvation Army or local thrift shops. When certain material, or certain volumes of material, cannot be efficiently donated, our team needs to find additional organizations interested in free stuff.
