Vanster/Residential Timber Recovery-Milwaukee

The Vanster collects timber resources from residential construction projects in Milwaukee County. The timber is collected, sorted, and then donated for reuse. Donated material has been used for the crafting of recycling bins, art projects and aquaponic structures in Bay View. The Vanster holds approximately 8 cubic yards of material and is primarily used for residential collection. Bay View Curbside currently removes and recycles reusable construction debris from South City Home Improvements, a local partner since 2012. Bay View Curbside has donated to the Sweet Water Foundation as well as some local art groups.
